The facility, originally constructed in 1976 and renovated in 2021, sits on a 3.11-acre site that includes an adjacent restaurant. The property features standard hospitality amenities, such as an outdoor pool, a business center, and 99 surface parking spaces. Its location places it along a major corridor that sees roughly 21,739 vehicles daily, providing high visibility in a market that supports over 264,000 residents.

Lubbock’s economic stability is anchored by Texas Tech University, which hit a record enrollment of 42,455 students in 2025. This institutional presence, combined with a robust healthcare sector and consistent tourism, creates a steady demand for local real estate. Jamie Coté, senior director at Hilco Global, noted that the site offers multiple value-creation paths, whether kept as a hotel or converted into student housing or mixed-use space.

The sale is currently being managed by Hilco Real Estate under the oversight of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, case number 25-50333-bwo11. Prospective buyers must submit bids by August 18. Interested parties can access due diligence documentation through the firm's dedicated sales portal.
