Michael Baker International Appoints Kevin R. Collins as Infrastructure President

Collins steps into the role with a mandate to drive growth across the company’s highway, rail, and aviation projects. His portfolio includes oversight of the firm’s critical water and environmental practices, where he is expected to integrate advanced digital solutions and sustainable design into ongoing client programs. Chief Operating Officer Kevin Reed highlighted the appointment as a strategic move to position the firm as a technology-driven advisor for resilient community systems.

Before this appointment, Collins spent nearly 13 years at HNTB, serving as Senior Vice President and leading major operations in New York and Washington state. His background also includes a 15-year tenure at HDR, where he managed transit business units and led large-scale rail engineering initiatives. A graduate of Northeastern University, Collins maintains an active role in professional organizations, previously chairing the New York Building Congress Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.
