Health Law Firm Hall Render Establishes Permanent St. Louis Base

After years of managing Missouri-based legal portfolios from afar, national health care law firm Hall Render is planting a physical flag in the St. Louis market. The firm officially opened its new office in Clayton this week, aiming to bridge the gap between regional client demand and its broader national practice.

The firm’s new space in the Sevens Building at 7777 Bonhomme Avenue is a direct response to rising requests for in-person collaboration among its existing Missouri health care clients. While Hall Render has maintained a significant workflow in the region for some time, the transition to a formal office allows for deeper integration on complex matters such as corporate governance, antitrust, and transactional law.

John Bowen, who steps in as the managing partner for the St. Louis branch, brings extensive experience advising health care providers on regulatory and operational challenges. According to CEO Gregg Wallander, the expansion reflects a long-term commitment to the state's health sector, ensuring that local organizations retain proximity to the firm’s national legal platform. The move positions Hall Render to provide more agile support across the full continuum of care, from hospital systems and physician practices to life sciences companies operating within the region.
