Perez will report directly to CEO Andy McCain, drawing on a deep institutional history that began when he joined the company as corporate controller in 2013. His trajectory included a promotion to chief financial officer in 2017 and a shift to chief operating officer in 2024. This progression provided him with oversight across sales, strategic planning, marketing, and operations, a breadth of experience the company identifies as critical to its ongoing stability.

Chairman Bob Delgado and McCain framed the selection as a move to secure the company’s future during a period of generational transition. A native of Puerto Rico and a 2002 certified public accountant, Perez holds a business administration degree from the University of Puerto Rico. His promotion signals a commitment to maintaining the operational standards of the 71-year-old family-founded business.
