Knowles Teacher Initiative Seeks Applicants for 2027 Fellowship
High school math and science educators in the early stages of their careers are invited to join the 2027 Knowles Teaching Fellowship. The four-year program aims to combat professional isolation by connecting participants with a national network of peers, mentorship resources, and funding to improve classroom practice.
The Moorestown-based initiative plans to select up to 40 new fellows for the upcoming cycle, targeting professionals who demonstrate strong subject expertise in physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics. Participants gain access to annual stipends, grants for professional development, and coaching from experienced educators. These resources are designed to help teachers transition from classroom novices into sustainable leaders within their school systems.
CEO Jeff Rozelle noted that the organization intends to build on the momentum of its 2026 cohort, which represented the largest and most geographically diverse group in the initiative's history. For those currently navigating the initial hurdles of the profession, the program offers a structure for long-term growth and collaborative problem-solving. Interested candidates have three opportunities to apply before the final deadline of January 19, 2027.
