Plaintiffs contend these assurances masked significant operational headwinds that executives allegedly ignored while maintaining optimistic financial guidance.

Discrepancies between these public statements and the mine's actual performance surfaced in two major waves. On March 30, 2026, the company slashed its first-quarter production guidance for Centurion from 700,000 tons to 250,000 tons, triggering a nearly 10% drop in share price.
