EZ Texting Brings SMS Marketing Control to ChatGPT and Claude
Business owners no longer need to navigate complex dashboards to run SMS campaigns. By launching Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, San Francisco-based EZ Texting now allows its 230,000 customers to manage marketing broadcasts, contact lists, and performance analytics entirely through natural language conversations within AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
This integration marks a shift in accessibility for the small and mid-sized business market. While large enterprise players like Twilio have previously developed MCP servers for engineering teams, EZ Texting is the first platform to package this technology for non-technical users. The system connects directly to the user’s existing account, ensuring that current compliance rules, credit balances, and permission settings remain fully intact during AI-driven operations.
Users can issue commands to their preferred AI assistant to trigger specific tasks, such as launching a promotion, updating a contact group, or querying campaign engagement metrics. Because the servers are compatible with any MCP-enabled environment—including Cursor—businesses can potentially chain SMS actions with data from Shopify, HubSpot, or Google Sheets without writing code. CEO Vijesh Mehta stated that the goal is to eliminate the need for specialized training or development staff, allowing entrepreneurs to execute marketing moves as quickly as they can formulate them. The feature is available immediately to all current EZ Texting subscribers at no additional cost.
