Tongwei Retains Fortune Global 500 Status for Fourth Straight Year
Ranked 464th globally, Tongwei has secured its position on the 2026 Fortune Global 500 for the fourth consecutive year. The achievement underscores the company’s resilience within the clean energy sector as it navigates an increasingly competitive landscape where the minimum revenue threshold for entry rose to 33.2 billion dollars.

This year’s Fortune Global 500 list highlights a tightening economic environment, with only 122 Chinese firms qualifying. Tongwei’s sustained presence confirms its standing as a dominant force in integrated photovoltaic manufacturing, a sector currently vital to the global transition toward sustainable power.
The company’s growth strategy remains anchored in a vertically integrated ecosystem that spans high-purity polysilicon production through to finished solar modules. By prioritizing large-scale intelligent manufacturing, Tongwei has maintained market relevance despite broader industrial fluctuations.
Technological advancement drives this output, specifically through the new TNC 3.0 module series. These units reach a maximum power output of 770W and an efficiency of 24.8 percent. For utility-scale installations, the TNC 3.0 BIFIMAX variant offers a bifaciality of 93.07 percent, a figure certified by TÜV Rheinland. By lowering the levelized cost of energy, these innovations aim to improve project returns for developers while cementing Tongwei’s role as a primary supplier in the renewable energy market.
