Elanco Raises Full-Year Outlook as New Pet Health Products Gain Traction
Elanco Animal Health reported a strong second quarter for 2026, with revenue climbing 10% to $1.37 billion. Bolstered by the performance of its latest veterinary blockbusters, the Indianapolis-based company is raising its full-year guidance for revenue, earnings, and debt reduction as its innovation strategy gains momentum.

The company’s growth was driven largely by its U.S. Pet Health and Farm Animal segments, which both saw 11% growth. CEO Jeff Simmons attributed the success to the rapid adoption of Zenrelia and Credelio Quattro. Zenrelia, in particular, has become a primary engine for global expansion, reaching approximately 18,000 U.S. veterinary clinics. Meanwhile, the ruminant portfolio saw a 12% boost, underscoring the company’s ability to stabilize its core business while scaling new innovation.
Elanco is now projecting full-year revenue between $5.09 billion and $5.14 billion, marking an increase over previous estimates. This optimism extends to profitability, with adjusted EBITDA expected to reach as high as $1.035 billion. CFO Bob VanHimbergen noted that the company is ahead of schedule on its deleveraging efforts, with its net leverage ratio falling to 3.1x, moving closer to the target of sub-3x next year. These gains are supported by the ongoing "Elanco Ascend" initiative, which aims to drive significant operational savings by 2030 through margin expansion and strategic investment in its R&D pipeline.
