Unreined Whiskey Opens Kentucky-Style Rickhouse in College Station

The 30,000-square-foot facility, built by Kentucky-based Buzick Construction and designed by Joseph & Joseph, bridges the gap between regional tradition and local production. According to Chief Marketing Officer Nelson Ingram, the site leverages the unique temperature and humidity of the ranch to develop the profile of their spirits. The debut coincides with the launch of Unreined Wheated Bourbon, a 104.2-proof, seven-year blend.

Beyond production, the site functions as a hospitality destination. Visitors can access guided tours, a speakeasy-style lounge, and a farm-to-table dining menu developed by restaurateur John Harvey Slocum featuring bison sourced directly from the property. Jeremiah Cook, Assistant Director of Tourism at Visit College Station, noted that the addition is expected to drive regional economic growth by anchoring local tourism efforts. The center will officially welcome the public starting August 8, with extended weekend hours through Saturday.
