Investors Face August Deadline in ZoomInfo Securities Lawsuit
Investors who purchased ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. stock between November 3, 2025, and May 11, 2026, have until August 24, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit. The litigation follows a 33% share price drop after the firm significantly lowered its 2026 growth outlook.
The lawsuit, filed against ZoomInfo and specific company officers, alleges that the firm provided materially misleading information regarding its AI product transition, subscription retention, and overall growth trajectory. When the company disclosed its revised 2026 financial guidance on May 11, the stock plummeted, wiping out roughly a third of its value in a single session.
Under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, the court will appoint a lead plaintiff to oversee strategy and counsel selection. While there is no minimum financial loss required to apply, courts typically favor applicants with the most significant holdings. Those who do not seek this role remain class members and retain their rights to participate in any eventual recovery without taking immediate action. The firm Levi & Korsinsky, which is managing the case, notes that the process operates on a contingency basis, meaning investors face no upfront costs or personal legal fees.
