Heartland Fleet + Traffic Partners with Valtir to Expand Texas TMA Support
A new partnership between Bridgeport-based Heartland Fleet + Traffic and global safety manufacturer Valtir aims to streamline roadway maintenance across Texas. By integrating Valtir’s specialized truck-mounted attenuators with Heartland’s regional service network, the collaboration seeks to reduce equipment downtime for local contractors, utility providers, and state transportation agencies.
The collaboration leverages Heartland’s facility in Bridgeport as a central hub, providing immediate access to replacement units and stocked parts. For Texas fleet operators, the arrangement promises faster repair turnarounds and specialized mobile service options designed to keep work zones operational.
Cecil Brown, Vice President of EAS Sales at Valtir, emphasized that the move focuses on maximizing equipment readiness by aligning high-end safety technology with localized technical support. Heartland president Dev Zacharias noted that the team is now fully equipped to handle the increased demand for maintenance and custom upfit solutions. This alliance combines Valtir’s five decades of highway safety expertise with Heartland’s regional footprint to improve service reliability for public and private roadway projects statewide.
