Western Midstream Raises 2026 Profit Outlook After Record Quarter
Western Midstream Partners reported record second-quarter Adjusted EBITDA of $736.5 million, prompting the company to raise its full-year guidance across key financial metrics. Driven by increased produced-water throughput and the recent Brazos Delaware acquisition, the firm is now targeting a mid-point Adjusted EBITDA of $2.85 billion for 2026.

The Houston-based partnership posted net income attributable to limited partners of $394.9 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This performance reflects an 8-percent sequential increase in Adjusted EBITDA, bolstered by higher commodity prices and operational efficiencies. In response to these results and stronger-than-anticipated customer activity in the Delaware Basin, management increased its full-year 2026 mid-point guidance for Adjusted EBITDA, Distributable Cash Flow, and Free Cash Flow by 10 percent, 10 percent, and 20 percent, respectively.
Strategic expansion remains a priority as the firm works to secure future growth. Western Midstream recently finalized two long-term gathering and processing agreements in the Powder River Basin, adding 270,000 dedicated acres to its footprint. President and CEO Oscar K. Brown noted that these developments, alongside the integration of the Brazos Delaware assets, position the company for sustained throughput growth through 2027. While capital expenditure expectations for 2026 have been pushed toward the high end of the $850 million to $1 billion range to support this increased activity, the company reaffirmed its quarterly distribution of $0.93 per unit.
