Teen Cancer America Expands Leadership Ahead of Annual Fundraiser

Since its 2012 inception, the organization has raised $36 million, financing 73 specialized adolescent and young adult cancer programs across the United States. The new board members—Peter Bristow, Kamesh Nagarajan, Huw Shakeshaft, David Simoné, and Tina Fasbender—bring expertise from the financial and entertainment sectors to support this mission. They join an established group of directors, including medical professionals and corporate leaders, aimed at addressing gaps in fertility counseling and survivorship planning for young patients.

Rebecca Rothstein continues as Chairman, leading an executive team that includes Rick French, Howard Jaffe, and Maria Taylor. CEO Shannon Sullivan noted that these appointments are critical to maintaining the momentum of the nonprofit’s nationwide coverage goals. The organization has served over 204,000 patients to date, with the upcoming fundraiser featuring appearances by Jackson Browne, Boz Scaggs, and Don McLean alongside Sheeran to further drive support for these clinical initiatives.
