Limbach Holdings Faces Investigation Over Profit Guidance Cut
A $12 million reduction in full-year Adjusted EBITDA guidance has triggered an investigation into Limbach Holdings by the law firm Levi & Korsinsky. The inquiry seeks to determine whether the company misled shareholders regarding pricing and margin pressures that blindsided investors on August 4, 2026.

While Limbach Holdings raised its revenue outlook in early August, the simultaneous slash to its profit forecast—dropping from a previous range of $90–$94 million to $78–$84 million—sparked immediate scrutiny. The company attributed this reversal to project timing and rising price sensitivity. However, the investigation focuses on whether these underlying financial headwinds were adequately disclosed to the market prior to the announcement.
Legal representatives are scrutinizing statements made as far back as March 2025, when CEO Mike McCann suggested the company could effectively pass material cost increases onto customers. Seventeen months later, that narrative shifted as Limbach reported lower-margin work and increased competitive pressures. Investors who incurred losses following the August guidance update are now being evaluated for potential securities law claims, with the firm reviewing whether earlier management disclosures provided an accurate picture of the company's fiscal health.
