Trading operations will be handled by a single independent broker across major European exchanges, including Euronext Amsterdam, Turquoise Europe, Aquis Exchange Europe, and CBOE Europe Limited. The company has set a ceiling of 25,000,000 shares for the repurchase, which is slated to conclude no later than September 10, 2026. UMG retains the right to suspend or modify the program at any time if market conditions shift.

Management intends to use the acquired shares to satisfy requirements for the 2022 Global Equity Plan and to potentially reduce overall share capital. The program operates under strict compliance with the EU Market Abuse Regulation, with the company committing to provide regular progress updates to investors. This buyback follows a strategy previously outlined by the board on April 29, 2026.
