The company posted net income of $566 million for the quarter ending June 30, up from $550 million in the same period last year. Revenue climbed 4.6 percent, supported by a 5.3 percent increase in core pricing. CEO Jon Vander Ark noted that the firm’s strategy of keeping pricing ahead of cost inflation successfully bolstered both revenue and EBITDA.

Republic Services also demonstrated significant capital deployment, investing $860 million in acquisitions during the first half of 2026 and returning over $1 billion to shareholders through dividends and buybacks. Following these results, the company updated its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $17.2 billion to $17.3 billion, with adjusted free cash flow projected to reach as high as $2.575 billion. Reflecting this confidence, the board approved a 7 percent increase to the quarterly dividend.
