Investors File Class Action Against Nano-X Over Alleged Misstatements

Investors who purchased Nano-X Imaging Ltd. securities between March 31, 2025, and April 17, 2026, have initiated a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging that the company and its top officials misled shareholders regarding production efficiency and operational costs.

The complaint, filed by Pomerantz LLP, claims that Nano-X executives overstated demand for their digital X-ray products while masking significant inefficiencies within their manufacturing operations. According to the filing, the company assured investors that it was successfully scaling production to drive profitability, despite internal misalignment between supply chain capabilities and actual market demand.

The alleged discrepancies came to light on April 20, 2026, when Nano-X disclosed a $33.4 million net loss for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company attributed $17.5 million of that loss to impairment charges linked to a restructuring of its Korean chip manufacturing facility. During a subsequent earnings call, CEO Erez Meltzer confirmed the company was shifting to an outsourced production model to curb rising operating expenses and high cash burn. Following these disclosures, the company's stock price dropped 24.39%, closing at $2.155 per share.

Investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff in the case, docketed as 26-cv-07062, have until August 11, 2026, to file their applications with the court.
