Harvard Geneticist David Sinclair Launches Science Media Platform Lifespan
Harvard Medical School professor and longevity researcher Dr. David Sinclair has launched Lifespan, a digital platform designed to provide evidence-based reporting on the biology of aging. Unveiled during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between complex laboratory breakthroughs and public health understanding.

The platform debuts alongside the launch of Lifespan Magazine, a publication authored entirely by scientists and industry leaders. By prioritizing peer-reviewed research over speculative health trends, the organization seeks to combat the misinformation currently surrounding longevity science. The project serves as an extension of Sinclair’s previous work in the field, including his top-ranked podcast, which previously introduced millions of listeners to the mechanics of aging.
Beyond media, the group operates with a dual purpose: education and research advocacy. The company supports the Lifespan Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding early-career scientists and addressing gaps in government research grants. To oversee the creative output, the team has recruited Daniel Salazar III, an Emmy Award-winning producer and former NASA filmmaker. The platform operates on a membership model, granting subscribers access to archives, exclusive research discussions, and direct Q&A sessions with experts working at the forefront of genetic medicine.
