The partnership leverages Landis+Gyr’s Revelo grid sensing platform, which allows utilities to deploy third-party applications directly at the network edge. By incorporating Future Grid’s AI-optimized analytics and the data-processing capabilities of Operational Technology Solutions, the ecosystem seeks to move beyond traditional monitoring. These tools provide operators with a clearer risk matrix, facilitating faster decision-making for field crews and control rooms alike.

David Maclean, Senior Vice President of Landis+Gyr APAC, noted that the move is designed to simplify how utilities adopt AI-driven insights. As grid complexity grows, the ability to process data locally—rather than relying solely on centralized systems—is becoming a standard requirement for maintaining network stability. Future Grid and OTS join an existing roster of partners, including Sense and Mitsubishi Electric, to support the transition toward more resilient and automated energy distribution.
