Investors Face August Deadline in Futu Holdings Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Futu Holdings Limited securities between May 24, 2023, and May 27, 2026, face an August 25, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit filed by the Rosen Law Firm regarding allegations of securities fraud.

The lawsuit alleges that Futu Holdings misled shareholders by failing to disclose critical regulatory shortcomings. Specifically, the complaint claims the company continued conducting securities, public fund, and futures business in mainland China without securing the necessary licenses from the China Securities Regulatory Commission. These omissions, according to the filing, led to overstated financial results and left the company vulnerable to severe penalties, including the potential disgorgement of gains.

Investors wishing to participate in the litigation may do so through a contingency fee arrangement, meaning no out-of-pocket costs are required. While a lawsuit is already active, no class has been certified yet. Affected parties retain the right to select their own counsel or remain absent members of the class. Those interested in serving as a lead plaintiff must file their motion with the court no later than August 25, 2026.
