Little Tikes Launches Retro-Modern Sweet Spaces Play Collection
The Little Tikes Company is pivoting toward a design-forward aesthetic with the launch of Sweet Spaces, a modular toy collection that blends vintage-inspired styling with interactive role play. Aimed at integrating seamlessly into modern home interiors, the line encourages children to replicate adult activities through curated appliance sets.

The new collection features individual modular components, including ovens, refrigerators, and espresso machines, allowing families to build custom play kitchens. Each piece is finished in colorways such as seafoam, pink, and white, prioritizing a visual style that matches contemporary living spaces. According to Josh Hackbarth, Chief Marketing Officer at MGA Entertainment, the goal is to provide a beautiful aesthetic for parents while fostering confidence and creativity in children through immersive, real-world simulations.
To mark the release, MGA Entertainment is hosting a pop-up experience at The Grove in Los Angeles on August 15 and 16. The event will offer children interactive zones to explore the new gear, which is currently available through major retailers including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. The lineup complements existing Little Tikes offerings, such as the Sweet Spaces playhouse and ice cream-themed inflatables, as the brand continues to emphasize the link between imaginative play and early developmental skills.
