Hoymiles Secures 17.4% Global Market Share in Microinverter Shipments
With a 17.4% share of global shipments in 2025, Hangzhou-based Hoymiles has emerged as the leading microinverter manufacturer outside the United States. Data from S&P Global Energy confirms the company's dominance across Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region, marking a significant milestone in its expansion since 2012.

The company’s growth strategy centers on module-level power electronics, which utilize independent MPPT to mitigate energy losses from shading and equipment mismatch. By adopting a low-voltage architecture, Hoymiles has successfully transitioned from a specialized component provider into a broader ecosystem that integrates solar generation, energy storage, and intelligent energy management systems across 190 countries.
Product diversification remains central to this reach. The firm’s portfolio now spans balcony-mounted solutions like the HiFlow series for residential DIY users, the HMS series for standard rooftops, and high-capacity HMT and MiT series engineered for industrial operations. By tailoring hardware to specific installation environments, the company continues to scale its footprint in both consumer and commercial energy sectors, targeting ongoing advancements in sustainable power dispatch and grid efficiency.
