Hain Celestial Reaches $35 Million Settlement in Securities Lawsuit

Investors who held common stock or options in The Hain Celestial Group between November 2013 and February 2017 may be eligible for a share of a $35 million settlement. The agreement follows a long-running class action litigation in the Eastern District of New York involving the company and several former executives.

The proposed settlement resolves claims brought by lead plaintiffs Rosewood Funeral Home and Salamon Gimpel against the company and individual defendants, including Irwin D. Simon, Pasquale Conte, John Carroll, and Stephen J. Smith. The court has scheduled a hearing for October 28, 2026, to determine if the deal is fair and to approve the distribution plan for the net settlement fund.

To participate in the payout, class members must submit a valid claim form by October 13, 2026. Those who prefer to opt out of the settlement entirely or wish to file a formal objection must ensure their written requests are received by the court no later than October 7, 2026. Detailed instructions and claim forms are available through the official settlement website, HainCelestialSecuritiesSettlement.com, or by contacting the appointed claims administrator, Verita Global.
