Technosylva launches expert wildfire intelligence briefings

La Jolla-based Technosylva is launching a series of bi-weekly situational awareness briefings to help utility providers and fire agencies navigate intensifying extreme weather. These sessions leverage the firm’s team of fire meteorologists and behavior analysts to translate complex risk data into actionable intelligence for front-line responders.

The new Intel Briefs program shifts the company’s focus from software-based modeling to direct expert consultation. Starting August 11, the sessions will provide deep dives into upcoming weather patterns, fuel moisture levels, and drought assessments. By incorporating after-action reviews of recent wildfire events, the firm aims to foster a collaborative environment where agencies can share insights alongside the technical analysis provided by Technosylva’s specialists.

COO David Schoenberg noted that these briefings serve to augment the existing software tools utilized by customers. By bridging the gap between automated simulations and human expertise, the initiative supports the coordination of responses to wildfire threats. The company, which processes billions of simulations daily through its AI and supercomputing platform, continues to expand its footprint from its primary offices in California, Spain, and Canada.
