Splitit Wins PayTech Award for Embedded Payments Innovation
Splitit secured the "Best Embedded Payments Solution for Merchants & E-commerce" at the 2026 PayTech Awards in London. The recognition highlights the company's Installments-as-a-Service platform, which enables merchants to integrate flexible, card-linked payment options directly into existing checkout flows without redirecting customers to third-party providers.

The platform distinguishes itself by utilizing existing credit lines on consumer cards rather than initiating new loans or credit checks. By avoiding traditional underwriting hurdles, the service maintains an approval rate exceeding 85%, significantly higher than the 35–40% average typical of standard buy-now-pay-later models. This accessibility reaches an estimated 1.2 billion cardholders globally, allowing merchants to maintain full ownership of their transaction data and customer relationships.
Operational success is currently visible across 4,500 active merchants in 30 countries. Beyond simple transaction processing, the platform influences consumer behavior; retailer Fashionette reported an 18% reduction in return rates for purchases made through the service compared to single-payment transactions. Nandan Sheth, CEO of Splitit, emphasized that the technology is designed to be invisible to the shopper, functioning within the merchant's own ecosystem to preserve brand consistency. This latest accolade follows the company's inclusion in the 2026 Georgia Fast 40, a ranking of the state’s fastest-growing middle-market firms.
