GIGABYTE Launches AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY Graphics Card Series
TAIPEI, Aug. 10, 2026 — GIGABYTE has officially released the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 INFINITY graphics cards, targeting high-end enthusiasts with a focus on cooling efficiency and cable management. The lineup introduces a hidden power connector design and a specialized thermal architecture to support sustained peak performance.

The new hardware centers on the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system, which utilizes a double flow-through design to facilitate heat dissipation. By allowing air to pass through both sides of the backplate, the system maintains thermal stability during heavy workloads. GIGABYTE claims its patented Hawk fans boost air pressure by 53.6% and volume by 12.5% compared to previous designs. An intelligent Overdrive fan, located at the center of the card, activates automatically to handle thermal spikes, ensuring the hardware remains quiet during standard operation.
Beyond performance, GIGABYTE is emphasizing aesthetics and build cleanliness. The power connector has been relocated to the rear of the card, allowing users to route cables behind the chassis. A magnetic cover plate hides the connection point, creating a minimalist look that complements the integrated RGB Halo lighting. For enthusiasts seeking a departure from traditional industrial styles, the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD model incorporates wood-grain textures to match GIGABYTE’s existing wood-themed motherboards. These units are available through local retailers and online outlets effective immediately.
