Lennar Launches Hitching Post Farms Community in Madison
A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 11, marks the official arrival of Hitching Post Farms, a new residential development by Lennar in Madison, Alabama. The project introduces a collection of single-family homes designed to bridge the gap between proximity to major employers and access to northern Alabama’s expansive outdoor recreation areas.
The new community features five distinct floor plans—Halle II, Trevi II, Brio II, Charle II, and Littleton—ranging from 1,703 to 2,360 square feet. Each residence offers three to five bedrooms and two to three bathrooms, with entry-level pricing starting in the high $200,000s. According to Jayson Williams, Division President of Lennar’s North Alabama branch, the site was selected specifically for its strategic position near top-rated schools and the region's rapidly expanding job market.
All properties at Hitching Post Farms will be built under Lennar’s standard inclusion program, which bundles high-end finishes into the base price. Residents can expect luxury vinyl flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and gas fireplaces as baseline features. The site sits near Interstate 565, providing a direct commute to Redstone Arsenal, the area's largest employer, as well as the retail and dining hubs at Bridge Street Town Centre and downtown Huntsville.
