The facility will house standard departments including fresh produce, meat, seafood, and a garden center, alongside electronics and apparel sections. Early arrivals can access the site’s Meijer Express fuel station, which begins operations on September 2, offering convenience for commuters and shoppers alike. Maureen Mitchell, Vice President of the Southeast Michigan Region, noted that the company aims to deepen its local presence by fostering partnerships with area organizations.

Shoppers will have access to digital tools such as Shop & Scan and the mPerks loyalty program, the latter of which provides discounts on groceries and fuel. The store will also stock exclusive labels like the premium Frederik’s by Meijer line and the health-focused True Goodness brand. The company currently employs over 40,000 people across the state and maintains long-standing collaborations with institutions such as the Detroit Zoo and Gleaners Food Bank.
