OppFi Posts Record Second Quarter Revenue Amid Strategic Pivot
OppFi Inc. reported record revenue of $145.2 million for the second quarter of 2026, a 1.9% increase year-over-year. Despite the top-line growth, the digital finance platform is navigating a period of transition as it prepares to finalize its acquisition of BNCCORP and BNC National Bank.

Net income for the period rose by 36% to $15.6 million. CEO Todd Schwartz described the current phase as a strategic transformation intended to diversify the company's financial products and enhance its technological capabilities. The pending deal with BNCCORP remains a focal point for the Chicago-based firm, which aims to leverage national bank status to stabilize performance across varying economic cycles.
While revenue reached record highs, the company reported adjusted net income of $28.8 million, down from $39.4 million in the same quarter last year. OppFi also initiated repurchases under a $40 million program authorized by its board in May. Looking ahead, the company updated its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting total revenue between $600 million and $625 million, with adjusted net income expected to land between $115 million and $130 million.
