PAM Health to Construct 42-Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Greensboro

The upcoming facility will focus on comprehensive inpatient recovery, offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients navigating complex medical challenges. These include traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke recovery, cardiac conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By integrating state-of-the-art technology with personalized care plans, the hospital intends to provide a seamless transition from acute medical treatment to functional independence.

Anthony Misitano, founder and CEO of the Enola-based health system, noted that the investment aligns with the state’s rapid population growth, particularly within the Triad region. Beyond standard clinical services, the hospital will implement specialized workers' compensation programs designed to facilitate a quicker return to employment for injured staff. Patients will also have access to ongoing outpatient therapy after discharge, ensuring a sustained continuum of care that extends beyond the initial hospital stay. This development reinforces the company’s footprint in North Carolina, where it already operates the PAM Health Specialty Hospital in Rocky Mount.
