Fourth quarter revenue rose 6% to $63.7 billion, while non-GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $2.91, a 40% increase over the same period last year. CEO Jason Hollar attributed the performance to broad-based operational strength and consistent investments in growth, noting that all segments delivered double-digit profit gains even before accounting for one-time tariff refunds. The company also demonstrated strong cash generation, reporting $5.2 billion in operating cash flow for the year.

Looking ahead, Cardinal Health issued fiscal 2027 guidance projecting non-GAAP earnings growth of 13% to 15%, or $12.40 to $12.60 per share. To support long-term value, the board of directors approved a $5.0 billion increase to the share repurchase program, bringing total authorization to $6.4 billion. Recent operational milestones include a multi-year distribution contract renewal with Kroger and plans to open a highly automated distribution center in Indianapolis by 2027.
