Project LeanNation Secures Spot on 2026 Inc. 5000 Ranking
With a three-year revenue growth of 470%, Rochester-based wellness brand Project LeanNation has landed at No. 932 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list. The company joins a diverse cohort of independent American businesses recognized by the magazine for their rapid scaling, job creation, and innovative contributions to the national economy.
Founded in 2012, the hybrid, tech-enabled concept has expanded to 31 locations across 14 states by pairing ready-to-eat meal services with professional health coaching. Tim Dougherty, the company’s founder and CEO, attributed the financial milestone to the brand's mission of community-based health support rather than purely numerical gains. He emphasized that the recognition serves as a testament to the dedication of the firm's franchise partners and members.
The Inc. 5000 ranking highlights private companies that have demonstrated consistent resilience and strategic decision-making. To qualify for this year's list, businesses were required to meet strict criteria, including a minimum revenue of $2 million by the end of 2025 and independent ownership. Project LeanNation stands among a broader group of honorees that collectively generated over 627,000 jobs during the three-year evaluation period.
