WeGoing! Launches Travel App to De-stress Group Trip Planning
Most group vacations hit a wall before they begin, suffocated by the burden of scheduling conflicts, upfront deposits, and awkward budget conversations. WeGoing!, a new travel platform based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, aims to solve this by distributing planning tasks and payments across the entire group instead of one organizer.
The app shifts the traditional travel-planning model by treating every participant as an active stakeholder. Instead of a single person financing the trip or chasing friends for reimbursements, WeGoing! allows travelers to commit to their own shares and manage logistics transparently. Founder Paul Eulette describes the platform as a way to liberate the "accidental travel agent" who typically ends up carrying the financial and administrative weight of a group outing.
To drive adoption, the company is launching with a curated guide for Croatia, developed in partnership with the Croatian National Tourist Board. This integration uses official imagery to showcase the Adriatic coastline and historic islands, providing users with a blueprint they can copy, modify, and share. Beyond the featured guides, the platform features a public itinerary function that allows users to turn successful past trips into templates for future adventures. Privacy remains a core pillar of the design, with the company enforcing strict boundaries around personal financial data and refusing to sell user information or host behavioral advertising.
