Kroger Taps Former Jet.com Executive Nate Faust for eCommerce Push
Nate Faust, a veteran of the digital retail sector and co-founder of Jet.com, will join The Kroger Co. as Executive Vice President and Chief eCommerce Officer on September 1, 2026. His appointment signals a strategic effort to accelerate the grocery giant's digital transformation and fulfillment capabilities.

Faust brings over twenty years of experience in scaling logistics and digital commerce platforms. Before joining Kroger, he led the delivery and returns startup Olive and previously held senior roles at Walmart U.S., where he directed supply chain transformations following the 2016 acquisition of Jet.com. His background includes early-career success at Diapers.com, where he helped engineer one of the fastest nationwide fulfillment networks in the industry.
Kroger CEO Greg Foran cited Faust’s track record in building efficient, customer-centric models as the driving force behind the hire. For his part, Faust pointed to Kroger’s extensive loyalty data and physical footprint as key assets for refining the digital shopping experience. A graduate of Princeton and Harvard Business School, Faust will now oversee the company’s efforts to compete with high-speed delivery standards and maximize the efficiency of its digital operations.
