The company’s shift toward an AI-driven, product-led ecosystem is anchored by a newly appointed executive team. Matt Gurney, formerly the Chief Product and Strategy Officer, has been named CEO, tasked with scaling the firm’s internship and learning services. He is joined by Chief Operating Officer Lois Harrison, who transitions from her leadership role at Ease Learning, and Senior Vice President of Growth and Marketing Brad Gibbs, who will oversee national market expansion.

Alchemy is also bolstering its strategic governance with the addition of two industry veterans to its board of directors. Ryan Craig, Managing Director at Achieve Partners and a prominent advocate for skills-based education, joins alongside Jeff Selingo, a noted author and strategist specializing in college-to-career transitions. According to Gurney, the firm is specifically targeting acute labor shortages in sectors such as healthcare, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing by embedding real-world professional experience directly into academic curricula.
