Korolova Brings Tomorrowland Spirit to Ibiza for Velo Event
Ukrainian house and techno DJ Korolova headlined the inaugural "Echoes of Tomorrowland" event in Ibiza, an immersive gathering designed by Velo to foster human connection. The night utilized interactive social experiments to encourage attendees to break down barriers and embrace their authentic selves on the dancefloor.

The event, held at the Tomorrowland Store, aimed to replicate the festival's unique culture of spontaneous community. To spark interaction, guests were given physical butterfly halves upon entry, tasked with finding a stranger carrying the matching piece. This simple mechanism transformed a room of international media, creators, and fans into a collaborative space, mirroring research findings that suggest 39% of adults find forming new connections increasingly difficult with age.
Korolova, who later debuted her immersive audiovisual project "Captive Soul" at the Tomorrowland Freedom Stage, noted the lack of judgment inherent in the dancefloor environment. Supporting artist Camden Cox observed that the butterfly experiment served as a vital icebreaker, turning strangers into partners in rhythm. Malky Brown, Global Head of Content & Partnerships at BAT, described the initiative as a practical effort to prove that shared experiences and self-expression remain the most effective catalysts for bringing people together.
