Norwegian Police Selects SISQUAL for Workforce Management Overhaul
The Norwegian Police have awarded a major public contract to Portuguese firm SISQUAL WFM to modernize their workforce scheduling and capacity planning. Supported by local partner Devoteam, the project aims to streamline shift management and resource allocation across the national force, following a rigorous procurement process that concluded this summer.
The agreement, signed on June 22, marks a significant shift in how the organization intends to manage its 24/7 operational demands. SISQUAL WFM will deploy its platform to provide real-time insights into staffing levels and competency requirements, a critical need for an institution governed by stringent labor laws and high-security standards. Implementation is scheduled to begin this autumn.
Frederico Magalhães, Founder and CEO of SISQUAL, described the tender as one of the most exhaustive processes the company has navigated, characterizing the win as a validation of their software’s capacity to handle mission-critical environments. To ensure a seamless rollout, Devoteam will provide local project management expertise. Jonas Höfde, CEO of Devoteam Norway, noted that the collaboration focuses on mitigating deployment risks while ensuring the technology integrates effectively with the police force's existing operational structure.
