Valens Semiconductor Raises Annual Guidance After Strong Second Quarter
Valens Semiconductor reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $18.1 million, surpassing its previous forecast and prompting the company to raise its full-year revenue outlook to a range of $78 million to $81 million as customer demand for its connectivity chipsets remains robust across both audio-video and automotive sectors.

The Hod Hasharon-based company outperformed its initial guidance of $17.2 to $17.6 million, driven by a diversified portfolio that balances established audio-video products with emerging automotive design wins. CEO Yoram Salinger noted that the company’s core audio-video segment continues to provide a stable foundation, while automotive programs are steadily moving toward production, with revenue expected to accelerate in 2027.
Financial discipline remains a focal point for the organization. Despite a GAAP net loss of $8.1 million for the quarter, the company maintained a solid liquidity position with $83.4 million in cash and short-term deposits as of June 30. Operational efficiency is also being bolstered by leadership changes, including the appointment of Karine Pinto-Flomenboim as CFO and Dean Martin as the head of the automotive business unit, moves intended to sharpen the company's commercial execution as it scales its technology footprint.
