Bridge to Life Ltd. has closed a $110 million financing round, securing capital from Soleus Capital and Lauxera Capital Partners to scale the rollout of its VitaSmart system. The Duluth-based firm, which received FDA De Novo clearance for its VitaSmart platform in January 2026, will use the infusion of equity and debt to expand its commercial field teams and reach transplant centers across the United States. According to CEO Don Webber, the adoption rate among academic medical centers has exceeded internal expectations, validating the company's shift from a development-stage firm to a fully commercialized organization.

Beyond current liver transplantation efforts, the company is developing a proprietary viability assessment tool intended to provide surgeons with objective, biomarker-based data when evaluating donor organs. This initiative aims to address the persistent challenge of organ non-use, potentially increasing the number of transplants performed annually. The remaining capital is earmarked for diversifying the firm's product pipeline to include additional organ applications over the next three years, while simultaneously refinancing existing credit facilities to improve the company's balance sheet.
