ParagonCorp Expands Global Leadership Initiative for Muslim Women

As the world marks International Youth Day, ParagonCorp has scaled its partnership with the Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women to support the 2026 Ri'aya Young Adult Stewardship Program. This initiative aims to equip emerging Muslim women leaders with the digital and ethical skills required for a rapidly evolving global economy.

Running from August 9 to 23 in Doha, Qatar, the two-week intensive program hosts 30 participants, ages 17 to 22. The curriculum centers on interdisciplinary learning, covering faith-based leadership, digital society, and cross-cultural collaboration. ParagonCorp facilitates this through the Wardah Open Scholarship, which removes financial barriers for attendees from Indonesia, Malaysia, and beyond, covering all travel and accommodation costs.

This year’s cohort includes diverse talents like Indonesian fashion designer Callista Aldenia, youth health advocate Amira Puji Hastuti, and Malaysian data analyst Syahirah Mohd Zaki. These participants join a growing network of alumni from the 2025 inaugural class who have already launched community initiatives ranging from health education to youth mentorship. According to Sari Chairunnisa, Deputy CEO of ParagonCorp, the program addresses a fundamental imbalance where talent is universal, but professional opportunity remains restricted.

Beyond this specific fellowship, ParagonCorp maintains a broad footprint in educational development, having supported over 9,000 scholarship recipients and 36,000 educators. By integrating professional development into its corporate social strategy, the company seeks to bridge the gap between academic potential and the leadership demands of the future workplace. Dr. Sohaira Siddiqui, Executive Director at Al-Mujadilah, noted that fostering these international connections is essential for cultivating a resilient and inclusive generation of leaders capable of navigating both local challenges and global civil society.
