TISE Hits Record Valuation as Bond Listings Surge in First Half

The International Stock Exchange reached a record market value of £813 billion by mid-2026, defying global macroeconomic volatility. CEO Cees Vermaas attributed the robust performance to the exchange’s established role as a premier European venue for bond listings. Despite lingering uncertainty across international debt markets, the exchange maintained steady momentum, particularly within its high yield bond sector, which saw 72 new listings—a 9.1% growth compared to the previous year.

The exchange’s diversified portfolio now encompasses 4,861 securities, with private equity debt and securitization bonds serving as primary drivers. Geographical reach also expanded, as TISE issuers now span 39 territories. The United Kingdom remains the dominant source of activity, accounting for 43.4% of new listings, while European Union and U.S. domiciled issuers contributed 32.4% and 5.9% respectively. Notably, the exchange continues to lead the market for UK REITs, with 41 currently listed.
