Nuvion Secures SOC 2 Type I Certification to Bolster Financial Security
Miami-based banking and cross-border payments platform Nuvion has received its first SOC 2 Type I report, confirming the design of its security and governance controls. This independent assessment validates the company’s infrastructure against AICPA standards as it prepares for further expansion into regulated global financial markets.
The report provides formal assurance to enterprise clients, banking partners, and financial institutions that Nuvion’s control environment meets rigorous standards for security, availability, and confidentiality. For large-scale organizations, this milestone serves as a critical component in vendor onboarding and third-party risk assessment, simplifying the due diligence process for firms operating in the fintech and stablecoin sectors.
Keisha Clark, Managing Director of Nuvion, noted that the achievement reflects a broader organizational commitment to embedding compliance into the company's operational culture. Beyond the certification, Nuvion has implemented a structured information security framework, including enhanced identity management and standardized vulnerability monitoring. The company is now moving toward a SOC 2 Type II examination to verify the long-term effectiveness of these controls as it scales operations across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
