DivDat Acquires Meridian Integration to Unify Payment and Engagement
Detroit-based Diversified Data Processing & Consulting, known as DivDat, has acquired Meridian Integration to consolidate customer engagement and payment processing into a single platform. The deal aims to eliminate fragmented vendor systems for healthcare providers, municipalities, and utility companies while expanding digital access for underserved populations.
The merger combines DivDat’s established payment infrastructure with Meridian’s specialized customer engagement software. By integrating these services, the company intends to streamline back-office reconciliation and reduce the operational strain of managing disparate software vendors. Jason Bierkle, President and CEO of DivDat, stated that the acquisition creates a broader vision for helping organizations modernize their customer interactions while reducing overhead costs.
Beyond technical integration, the combined entity targets the gap between digital-first users and cash-preferred populations.
