The collaboration centers on the DBOX PRT docking station, a hardware solution designed to house, charge, and manage specific Parrot aircraft, including the ANAFI UKR series. By integrating these docks with Drone Nerds’ existing service and training portfolio, the companies intend to shift emergency response and perimeter monitoring toward a more automated, constant-readiness model. The system includes environmental sensors, security cameras, and multi-link connectivity to support GNSS-denied flight operations in challenging conditions.

Jeremy Schneiderman, CEO of Drone Nerds, stated that the move allows the company to provide customizable systems that align with the specific operational requirements of government clients. For agencies currently utilizing Parrot technology, the integration offers a pathway to transition from manual piloting to dock-based operations. Dr. Linas Gelazanskas, CEO at DBOX, noted that the partnership provides the necessary support framework for organizations to incorporate autonomous infrastructure into their daily workflows. The DBOX PRT stations meet several rigorous standards, including TAA, NDAA, and Blue sUAS designations, positioning them for widespread use within federal and public safety sectors.
