Kimberly-Clark Names Suzana Blades General Counsel
Suzana Blades will step into the role of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Kimberly-Clark on September 1, 2026. A seasoned litigator and internal veteran, she joins the executive leadership team at a pivotal moment, taking on a key position as the company navigates its pending acquisition of Kenvue.

Blades currently serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, where she manages the company’s global litigation, government relations, and legal operations. Her promotion places her in the center of the firm's strategic evolution, reporting directly to Chief Strategy, Business Development and Administrative Officer Jeff Melucci. CEO Mike Hsu highlighted her internal track record, noting that her four-year tenure at the Dallas-based manufacturer has earned her the trust necessary to guide the legal organization through its upcoming transition.
Her background includes nearly 12 years at ConocoPhillips, where she focused on international arbitration and commercial litigation. She also held roles at Hess Corporation and the law firm Arnold & Porter. An alumna of the Georgetown University Law Center and New York University School of Law, Blades will also join the leadership team tasked with integrating Kenvue Inc. following the completion of the acquisition.
