aytm Launches Quarterly Data Quality Benchmark Report

The report arrives as a direct countermeasure to pervasive industry issues. A 2025 audit conducted by Greenbook and Rep Data revealed that roughly one-third of the 4.1 billion survey attempts analyzed were fraudulent, with another quarter categorized as inattentive. Notably, 70% of that compromised data bypassed standard cleaning protocols. aytm’s initiative seeks to bridge this gap by offering verifiable metrics for every data point.

Jonathan Goodbread, head of data quality strategy at aytm, emphasized that the firm is prioritizing auditability over vague quality claims. The latest dataset recorded a 2.6% abandon rate, marking a record low for the platform. Following analysis by the AI-powered Data Centrifuge engine, 5.4% of qualified completes were removed. Meanwhile, the incorrect demographics rate climbed to 1.6%, a shift the company attributes to expanded verification coverage. To assist procurement and insights teams in navigating these standards, the company also released a seven-question evaluation guide.
