Appier Posts Record Second Quarter as Agentic AI Drives Profitability
With revenue surging 24.6% year-over-year to a record JPY 12.9 billion, Appier Group Inc. has outpaced its own financial guidance for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026. The Singapore-based AI firm saw its margins expand as internal adoption of agentic technology streamlined development cycles and boosted overall productivity.

Gross profit climbed to JPY 7.7 billion, marking the first time the company’s gross margin has surpassed the 60% threshold. Operating profit followed a similar trajectory, rising 82.8% to reach JPY 1.5 billion. This performance was underpinned by strong regional growth, specifically a 59% increase in the U.S. and EMEA markets and a 33% gain in Northeast Asia. The company’s focus on enterprise account expansion and technology-driven efficiency resulted in a 38% year-over-year increase in gross profit per employee.
Core free cash flow reached JPY 2.3 billion, a 243.6% jump that the company attributes to disciplined operational execution. CEO and co-founder Dr. Chih-Han Yu noted that the firm’s strategy remains anchored in delivering measurable return on investment, a model he claims is now compounding. Bolstered by these results, Appier has raised its full-year revenue guidance to JPY 54.4 billion, with operating income projections adjusted to JPY 5.0 billion for the fiscal year.
