Axiad Conductor Secures FedRAMP Authorization for Federal PKI

The authorization allows government entities to bypass lengthy infrastructure deployments, replacing legacy systems with a managed service. By shifting to a cloud-native model, agencies can accelerate compliance with mandates like OMB M-22-09 and Executive Order 14028, which prioritize Zero Trust architectures and high-assurance identity verification. The platform already supports critical programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the Department of Justice.

Beyond immediate modernization, the platform addresses long-term security concerns by integrating support for post-quantum cryptography. This capability allows agencies to adopt quantum-resistant algorithms as NIST standards evolve, shielding sensitive data from future decryption threats. According to Bassam Al-Khalidi, co-founder and chief innovation officer at Axiad, the service enables agencies to implement PIV-level assurance and dedicated PKI services in weeks rather than years. The solution is currently available for procurement through established channels including GSA MAS and NASA SEWP.
