Alcor Debuts AI-Driven CMDB Catalyst for ServiceNow Environments
San Francisco-based digital transformation firm Alcor has launched CMDB Catalyst, an AI-powered tool designed to automate the maintenance and optimization of Configuration Management Databases. Built natively on the ServiceNow platform, the software aims to shift CMDB management from manual, passive data entry to an autonomous, self-improving operational foundation.

As enterprise IT architectures grow increasingly fragmented, maintaining an accurate and functional CMDB has become a persistent bottleneck for many organizations. Alcor’s new product addresses this by deploying 10 purpose-built AI agents across four operational pillars: data quality, automation, optimization, and real-time reporting. By integrating these agents, the system continuously monitors infrastructure health and resolves data discrepancies without requiring constant human oversight.
Monisha Singh, Chairperson and Sr. Principal at Alcor, framed the launch as a necessary evolution for modern enterprises, arguing that the future of IT management must move beyond simple assistance toward fully AI-driven operations. Sunita Gulia, Sr. Director of Product Development, noted that the tool is specifically engineered to reduce the manual labor burden on IT teams by ensuring that the database remains intelligent by design rather than by manual intervention. The product is currently available on the ServiceNow AI Agent Marketplace, offering businesses a path to modernize their existing ecosystems with enterprise-grade security and governance.
